Halloween 2011

If anyone knows how to properly celebrate Halloween, its Grandma Peterson!  Between the traditional hot dog mummies, spider rolls, ghost potatoes, haunted house decorating, spooky music, festive treats and cute lights...it was a hoppin' party!  We were so happy they invited us over and we could spend Halloween with the Peterson crew.  We really missed Blake, Kate, Josh, Syd and Beckham though.  And of course, we missed seeing my parents as well, we had so much fun with them last year.

When it came to Halloween costumes...Forrest changed his mind a million times.  In early September, Forrest started out by saying he wanted to be a 'mim-ja' (ninja), then it was a ghost, then it was a knight (which we finally bought the costume for) and then he changed his mind and wanted to be the prophet Enos. He wanted to trick or treat as Enos so we put his Knight costume on underneath.  Half way through trick-or-treating the Enos costume got too heavy so he took it off and became a knight for the rest of the night, ha ha!!  Maybe we should just have him dress up with his costume ideas layered every year so he can be everything he wants for Halloween.  :)  He is a funny little character!

Andrew is missing his front teeth so he was dying to be a vampire.  He told us this Summer and has faithfully stuck by his costume plan since.  Its so funny to see the difference between those two boys. Andrew made a really cute vampire!

Addi was dressed up as Sleeping Beauty but when cute cousin Taylor didn't want to wear her mermaid costume, Addi was very happy to switch with her.  She loved being a mermaid and continues to say "mer-mad" thoughout the day.
